Comprised of Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties, the Metro Detroit AFL-CIO is the largest Central Labor Council in the State of Michigan. As with any CLC, the primary responsibility of the Metro Detroit AFL-CIO is to bring different unions together to work collectively to increase union membership, educate and mobilize existing union members, and create a powerful voice for working families.
